Dr. Chelsea Mancuso, PT, DPT
Dr. Mancuso earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University in 2012, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Long Island University in 2015. She previously worked at an outpatient clinic in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania before relocating to North Carolina with her husband, Will.
Dr. Mancuso has treated patients with varying orthopedic diagnoses and surgeries such as, postoperative total knee and hip replacements, arthroscopic rotator cuff and meniscal repairs, ACL reconstructions, cervical and lumbar spinal fusions, laminectomies, osteoarthritis, pediatric patients, as well as other muscle, tendon, and ligament pathologies. She has also worked with patients with neurological conditions like Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, and other balance and gait dysfunctions. Dr. Mancuso emphasizes one-on-one approach with her patients. She focuses on patient specific manual techniques, exercise prescription, and education to restore patients to their highest quality of life.
Chelsea is certified in Graston Technique, which she uses to help further improve soft tissue and joint restriction. She’s also taken courses in Kinesio Taping and the Maitland Approach that she utilizes to diversify her treatment approach.
Outside of physical therapy, Chelsea enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, reading, musicals, Netflix binging, dancing, skiing, and traveling. She has always lived an active lifestyle, beginning to ski and dance when she was a toddler. Chelsea uses her physical drive to motivate patients to achieve their goals and get back to their pain-free independence.
