If you are an athlete, it’s probably more than safe to say that you’ve certainly had your fair share of injuries while playing sports or training. While ignoring minor injuries and hoping for the best may sound like a reasonable idea (after all, your body will heal eventually, right?), sports injuries can actually get worse over time – especially if the affected muscles, joints or tendons are repeatedly used in the fashion in which they were injured.
As we approach the holidays this year, one thing we can all agree on, is that they are looking much different than years past. Like many people, you may feel more stressed and can’t help but to have some negative emotions. This is understandable.
As 2020 is nearing an end, we still find ourselves navigating the coronavirus pandemic in all aspects of our lives. This time of year, we also find ourselves in cold and flu season – both illnesses which can have similar symptoms to Covid-19.
